A clean toilet with toilet paper, a towel, and a soap dispenser is a dream at parties and festivals. As the Cleanliness Team, we make sure you can take care of your needs in a well-maintained and hygienic environment.

In this area, we aim to ensure that everyone feels as comfortable as possible at our festival at all times. We are all responsible for creating an atmosphere where everyone can celebrate and enjoy their time at Homeward in a relaxed way.

If you ever feel uncomfortable, we offer an awareness team and a retreat space. You will always find a listening ear and support with us. You can find us on the dance floors and in the awareness area—feel free to reach out! We love it when you feel completely at ease!

Hinter den Kulissen des Backyards treffen vielfältigste Begabungen und Leidenschaften aufeinander. Unser Team besteht aus einem kleinen Grüppchen von Leuten, die für das Festival eine Transformation von Helden des Alltags hin zu Licht-, Klang-, Handwerks- und Dekokünstler*innen durchmachen, die Backstage Gastfreundschaft üben und die in der Vorbereitung mit Booking und Stagemanagement beschäftigt sind. Wenn du dich auch irgendwo hier wiederfindest, kannst du gerne Teil unseres Teams werden! Angeführt von Anne und Martin als Bereichsleitenden, sind wir alle in erster Linie Leute mit Leidenschaft für Musik, Atmosphäre und unsere Mitmenschen.

In the Children’s World, we make sure that even the youngest guests feel at home at Homeward.

Here, kids can play, run around, and get creative—experiencing their very own mini-Homeward. While parents soak in the festival atmosphere, we keep the little ones entertained, creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience for both parents and children.

We take care of the festival's infrastructure. We ensure that water, electricity, and various "tinkerings" run as professionally as possible. Following the motto "ora et labora" (pray and work), we offer our skills by God's grace.

We’re handy with a cordless drill, saw, and gaffer tape—are you a MacGyver too? We provide water, electricity, and that special spark of warmth in the heart.

In the Decoration Team, we make sure the festival grounds shine with a cozy, homey flair. We craft, build, spray, sew, paint, and more.

From towering 4-meter sculptures to a glowing techno floor and charming bunting—everything is possible with us! We’re already excited to create, decorate, and make Homeward feel even more like home.

Our team members are usually the first people you meet as a festival visitor. We greet you with a warm welcome, check your party pass, explain the solidarity contribution, and, together with the cash desk, hand out your festival wristband.

The Event Technology Team is responsible for the technical execution of the festival. We set up and take down the stages, ensure great sound, and create creative lighting designs.

We also strive to provide artists with a smooth performance experience by fulfilling their wishes as much as possible. For you, we keep set changeovers as short as possible.

Whether loud or quiet, bright or dark, from folk to techno—we handle it all. We bring diversity to the artists and stages, highlighting their unique character in an individual way.

If there's one thing that just doesn't work at home, it's being hungry or thirsty. That’s why no one should go hungry or thirsty at the Homeward Festival either!

We make sure there are enough veggies chopped, meals served, and bottles opened. Of course, we’re always happy for extra helping hands to keep the Homeward family well-fed and refreshed!

Auf der Homestage sind die größeren Bands des Festivals vertreten. Mit einem bunt gemischten Line-Up versuchen wir, möglichst viele Genre für unsere Besuchenden abzudecken. Wir kümmern uns während des Festivals um die Versorgung der Künstler*innen. Von Verpflegung über Geländeführung bis zur Unterkunft wollen wir ihnen einen angenehmen Auftritt inmitten des Festivals ermöglichen.

To bring together so many ideas and creative people, someone needs to keep an overview and connect all the areas. We take care of the essentials behind the scenes. While specific tasks are handled by individual teams, we coordinate between them and take care of anything that might otherwise fall through the cracks. So if you have a question or suggestion—bring it on! We're here to help.

We are here for anyone who simply needs someone to talk to. Sometimes, you just need to get something off your chest—whether it's doubts, real challenges, or even a crisis.

We want to provide a safe space where people can openly share their thoughts and concerns. We listen, we are present, and if you’d like, we can pray together. No matter what questions or struggles arise, we are here for you.

With us, it's all about capturing the beautiful moments of the festival through photography and videography, creating lasting memories of Homeward.

Our goal is to capture atmospheric images that authentically reflect the festival's vibe. As photographers and videographers, we act responsibly and respectfully at all times.

During and after the festival, we collect, sort, and edit all recordings. While videos are primarily shot for the aftermovie, we also produce other formats, such as interviews with visitors and recordings of individual workshops, which we then publish.

At Homeward, there is space to personally experience the power of prayer together with others. We are here for you—ready to listen, pray with you, and help you lay your burdens before God.

We are the people against stress. At Homeward, we make sure that everyone has access to a parking and sleeping spot whenever possible. We also ensure smooth operations both in front of and behind the scenes. You can reach out to us if you're not feeling well or if you have a problem.

Everyday life is often wild, funny, stressful, exhausting, and wonderfully beautiful—but rarely do we take the time to slow down and explore life's deeper questions. Our mission is to create spaces where reflection, questioning, inspiration, and new perspectives come naturally. This happens, for example, during BASE, but also in collaboration with the Workshops, Prayer, and Pastoral Care teams. We also ensure that, even during the festival setup, we don’t get overwhelmed by stress but leave enough room to be embraced by our best friends—and by God’s love. Additionally, we coordinate the people who help shape BASE.

We are always on the move! As a team, we transport sofas, pallets, beer table sets, and more to Homeward from various stations around the site.

During the festival, we stay on standby to ensure a steady supply of drinks, food, and other necessities. When it’s time to pack up, we make sure everything is returned to its original place.

Our goal is to make the Wohnzimmer a relaxed space for everyone. As the heart of our festival, it’s a place where you can come together, chat, or simply unwind on the sofa.

To keep things exciting between breakfast and the evening concerts, we offer two workshops per day, giving you the chance to get active, creative, and artistic—or to fill your brain with new input.

From craft sessions and car maintenance basics to improv theater, we have a diverse selection of workshops. But to make this lineup truly exciting, we need YOUR support!
